Bringing Joy to Saraswati Orphanage Every year, the Rotary Pune Pride Foundation makes a heart-warming visit to “Saraswati Anath Shikshan Ashram” (Orphanage) in Dapodi, bringing along essential rations. This generous gesture ensures that the 40 children and staff members can celebrate Diwali with joy and abundance. The orphanage, which takes in children aged 6 to 18 by court order, has been a beacon of hope and support for those in need. Since 1995, Mr. Suravase has dedicated himself tirelessly to the care, education, and development of these children, overcoming numerous challenges without any external grants. Under his stewardship, the orphanage offers a library, a computer lab, yoga sessions, moral education classes, and various arts programs to enrich the children's lives. The Rotary Pune Pride Foundation has consistently supported this noble cause over the past few years by donating rations. In addition to these contributions, it is essential to consider further avenues of support to enhance the well-being of these children. This year, our club has not only continued its tradition of donating to “Saraswati Anath Shikshan Ashram” but has also decided to contribute ?20,000 to provide a diverse range of items for making Diwali Faral. Through these efforts, the Rotary Pune Pride Foundation reaffirms its commitment to community service and the betterment of the lives of those in need, ensuring that the festival of lights brings happiness and hope to all at Saraswati Anath Shikshan Ashram (Orphanage).
